    Well Well Well,

Now aren't you just frustrated? Luckily I'm creating this to do you a solid, as well as a lot of other fellow GTA/GT:MP Players.

Is this the screen making you want to throw your computer out the window, or the similar thing but with "Social Club?"

Don't RIP your equipment just yet, because you're about to be role playing in a few minutes.
This message simply means the application that launches all the stuff you don't see behind the scenes is missing.
Actually it could be 1 of 3 different files, possible 2 of 3, or maybe something really messed up and it's all three.
    But... I'm a generous guy.

There are two different ways that you are playing GTAV.
    Steam or Retail..

I use retail, but when it comes to file paths, they're practically the same, but I'll make sure every step is shown for both. Ready?

You're going to go to START and type "This PC."

    -
Now you should see a screen similar to this, with what is typically your "C Drive" (Hard Drive/SSD)
You're going to click on that and open it up!

    -

This is what you'll see when you open it up.. You're getting warmer!

    ______________________________________________________________________________
Now lets take a chill pill and not get ahead of ourselves.
Remember how I said you either have the Steam version or the Retail?
Moment of Truth, knowing which one you have is crucial for the rest of this guide.

Please NOTE: Everyone's File System may be different. Your GTAV or Steam GTAV could be in either Program Files or Program Files (x86) either way, the guide doesn't change, just figure out which one yours is in.

    -
    [IMG]

    So lets find your location
After you go inside your hard drive, you're going to scroll down for "Program Files or Program Files (x86.)
(GTA is typically in Program Files alone with retail.)
(Steam GTA is in the steam folder.)

    -

    For Retail:

    For Steam:

We will show retail first, because you don't have to do as much digging as steam. Just follow what I highlight in my pictures.

Go ahead and open up one of the two folders. (I recommend you start with Program Files first)
    1.Open Rockstar Games

    2. Open Grand Theft Auto V
    [IMG]
    3. Which One is missing?
    <><><><><><><><><><><><><><>><><><><><><><><><><><><>
    Now Steam:
    1. Go into Program Files (Most Likely x86)

    2. Scroll Down to Steam.
    3. Go inside Steam and go to Steam Apps.
    4. Go inside Steam Apps and go to Common
    [IMG]
    5. Go inside Common and locate your "Rockstar Games" or "Grand Theft Auto V."
(As you can see I don't have it on steam, but the rest of the steps are the same.

    6. Open Rockstar Games
    [IMG]
    7. Open Grand Theft Auto V
    [IMG]
    8. Which One is missing?
    _________________________________________________________________________________

I want you to take a moment to pat yourself on the back!!!
You're almost done and about to be IG.
Did you discover which of the three you were missing?
(I sound like the dude from Blue Clues or Dora the Explorer xD )
    Now the fun part.
I made a special portion of my cloud to put files on for my guides and regularly update them.

You're going to click this sentence to view that cloud and download whichever file is missing.

It may say that the file is to large for Google to scan, but I assure you that thre is none to worry, because I wouldn't infect a community I love with viruses and stuff!

    <><><><><><><><><><><><><><>><><><><><><><><><><><><>

So you've downloaded the file you needed. SOOOOO.
Now I need you to open a SEPERATE File explorer than the one you located your GTA file.
Unless you want to find it again, up to you. Lol

    -

    1. Copy the missing file that you just downloaded

    -

    2. And the last step is to paste that file in the main directory where the file was missing from the three.

    <><><><><><><><><><><><><><>><><><><><><><><><><><><>

You may have one last step but it's relatively simple.
You may have to show GT:MP where the missing file is now.

    1. Open GT:MP
    2: Go to Settings
    3. Inside settings, locate the GTAV.exe again to restore gameplay!

    <><><><><><><><><><><><><><>><><><><><><><><><><><><>

    Well Guys,
I hope my guide was helpful and allowed you to get back to your RP lives. Please don't hesitate to PM me if you have any issues or contact me on Discord.

    Thank You!
